Unitron’s
line of facility power systems includes 28 VDC power supplies and 400 Hz
frequency converters designed for installation where space is limited. The
units mount “flat” against a wall, and offer the smallest size
to power-rating ratio in the industry.
The
output power rating for Unitron's 28 VDC FlatPak™ Power System is 600
amps continuous and 2000 amps start current. The unit is equipped
with automatic line drop compensation to allow the use of cables up
to 60 feet in length without reducing the voltage at the cable head.
In addition, the FlatPak™ power system meets all National Electric
Code (NEC) requirements for operation within a hangar environment.
In
addition to fixed equipment, Unitron offers 400 Hz, 28 VDC and
combination AC/DC units in mobile and towable configurations.
